My name is Matthew Perkins, I work at Ironman 4×4 as the International Digital Marketing Manager.
I cut my teeth in Digital Marketing at Pixel Light in South Yarra (now known as Dcodr) as a Digital Strategist. Through this role I handled a large number of Search Engine Marketing Campaigns, as well as operating over Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Optimisation, Website Analysis, Analytics and Campaign Strategy for 3.5 years.
I then pursued my passion of the 4wd and outdoors by joining Ironman 4×4. After 2 years, I’ve made a significant impact on their marketing having driven the development of a new website, a massive extension of their audience across social networks and forums and provided some clear direction of next steps to further develop the brand and it’s marketing objectives.
I’m a pretty tech savvy guy, having been tinkering with computers all my life, not to mention all the other assorted bits of tech that have popped up i.e. phones, TVs etc.
By winter I’m a die-hard skiier, having been all around the world skiing including: Japan, USA, New Zealand and Canada (not to mention Australia – as i do live here). I also used to instruct skiing and snowboarding over in Canada, and have started to dabble in a bit of telemarking (not to be mixed up with telemarketing, more at this link).
I’ve also recently returned from a self-drive safari through Southern Africa!
Any other time of the year you can find me out on the 4×4 Tracks in my Nissan Patrol, or down by the coast chasing some waves!
